Moose   Moo-s

Lumber Master

Born seemingly of the large Grandvoet nature folk and the skittish satyrs, Moose is a large lumbering master of the woods. He's a little simple-minded but he's sweet and good at the few things he's practised in. Such as a very specific but extreme understanding of how the masses of solids work and thus how to manipulate them in a way outside of magic. It's such qualities that caught the attention of the captain of the airship The Silver Lining, Gora took him under her wing and now he's her second in command.

Unknownst to anyone, including himself, Moose is of a race called Kebanzu from another world called Terramesia. There he was a brute of a fighter, short-tempered and ill-suited for learning. It just so happened, like a scattering of others across the world of Pennbor, he was brought there by a Loop. The experience in his case frazzled his memories but in equivalent exchange gave him the knowledge of solid mass and therefore the ability to manipulate them, all from an undiscovered affinity for flowers.

Shapeshift [Racial - Kebanzu]

  • The Grandvoet can have the minor ability to change their appearances a little, a likely adaptation to blending in with the more common folk

  • However for whatever reason (that being he's actually a Kebanzu), Moose can shift his form entirely into that of any beast he has seen

  • And stranger yet, like none other he has met, he has forms that are entirely unknown to this world. Similar but definitely otherworldly. Outside of having his own unique forms of all the beasts and races of Pennbor he also has the following:

Woodland Wardener [Loop Knowledge & Practice]

Woodland Wardeners are often mistaken for druids due to their shared respect for the simplistic and efficient life of plants, resulting in a fighting partnership with vegetation rather than using them as unwilling tools. However, where druids draw on the collective magic of nature that is simultaneously simple and complex, Woodland Wardeners use their combined understanding of the water cycle and how it contributes to the cycle of life to create the solids known as wood and greenery, to adapt their forms for their uses.

He can affect the mass state of natural raw solids, such as dirt, stone and stand. However, he also specialises in wood. This means he can manipulate these substances as he wills it.

With practice and learning, he can eventually also:

  • Cause his skin to become bark-like for a natural armoured defence

  • Fortify the structure of a tool, shield or weapon etc to increase enhance their potention

  • Manipulate substances for mending purposes, to craft or remove them. For example: manipulate a wood wall to repair a hole or to create a hole to pass through

  • Using the system of trees connected around the world, travel through one to another as long as he is familiar with the trees being used.

  • Enhance his form with nature to bolster attacks, defence, dexterity and strength for a tanky combat form.
